The repertoire for my first debut album which solely features compositions has been completed. I'm taking steps to build an ensemble of current and former colleagues to make recording and performing some of my music a reality.
I'm planning to release this project in late 2025. Prior to the final release as an album, each track will be released separately as singles in frequent intervals, with music videos for each being published on all major social media platforms
In December 2018, our quintet had the opportunity to record some tunes at Walter Hall with the support of the University of Toronto's resident audio engineer, Peter.
Three of the six tunes we recorded are available for listening here. The other three we decided were not suitable for release.

In July of 2018, I hopped on a bus and went to visit friends I'd made in Boston during my first year of study at Berklee College of Music. It was a fantastic trip, and I got to record a fun, loosey-goosey solo (plus some horn backgrounds) in a basement studio for one of Vermont Cheddar's first releases. Miss you guys!
The embedded videos here are examples of performances with the Vivamus Magna Quintet (VMQ) at the Rex Hotel in downtown Toronto, as part of the University of Toronto Jazz Studies program.

A series of recordings from our concerts with the big band at Walter Hall. These recordings are from both 2018 and 2019.

In May of 2018, the Little Big Band had the opportunity to work with upper-year students in the Music Production & Engineering program (the entire big band were first-year students at the time) to record some of its tracks. Between 10pm and 2am, the band met to record seven tracks live off the floor. Two of these were from me!
Both of these recordings are first-year, no-prior-instruction arrangements. One of them, "The Czech", is a chart I composed earlier that year. The next, "Too Young To Die," was a fun little trombone-feature arrangement I did of the classic Jamiroquai tune.
